Olivia Rodrigo surprised fans at Primavera Sound 2026 with a debut performance of her new song What’s Wrong With Me, featuring The Cure’s Robert Smith.

The track, which is Rodrigo’s first-ever collaboration, is the tenth track off her highly anticipated third studio album ‘you seem so pretty for a girl so in love‘, releasing on Friday, 12th June 2026.

I can’t believe this song exists with the person it exists with“, said Rodrigo, ahead of her unveiling the duet to festivalgoers.

After a resounding reception from the crowd, Rodrigo said: “I can’t believe that’s a thing that happened in the real world and not just a figment of my imagination,” before continuing her performance.

Rodrigo was announced as a surprise guest at the Barcelona festival on Saturday via social media, in an Instagram post captioned “Spilling our guts,” before taking to the stage just hours later.

Her set included a mix of fan-favourites, like 2021’s hit single drivers licence, deja vu, and vampire, along with new material off her new record, including lead single drop dead and recent release the cure.

She took to the Occident Stage at 22:25 CET, and her set lasted approximately 45 minutes.

The pair previously performed together during Rodrigo’s Glastonbury headline show in 2025, where they delivered The Cure’s Friday I’m In Love and Just Like Heaven together.

Rodrigo’s unexpected appearance in Barcelona on Saturday night came months ahead of the popstar’s sold-out arena tour in support of her third album.
