The Beach Boys

The Beach Boys are bringing the good vibrations to Southampton

Southampton will be feeling Good Vibrations when The Beach Boys bring their plethora of hits to the Guildhall Square, as part of the city’s 2026 Summer Sessions.

Known for classic songs including Wouldn’t It Be Nice, Don’t Worry Baby and God Only Knows, the iconic group will take to the stage on Thursday, June 18.

Fronted by founding Beach Boy Mike Love, the band will stop by Southampton as part of their Sounds of Summer Tour.

Remaining tickets are on sale now.

Support on the evening will come from Rubber Bullets and Dreadlock Holiday hitmakers 10cc.

The Beach Boys were founded in 1961 by Brian, Dennis, and Carl Wilson, alongside Mike Love and Al Jardine.

They are considered one of the most important bands of all time and their seminal album Pet Sounds celebrates its 60th anniversary this year.

The TK Maxx presents Southampton Summer Sessions will run from Friday, June 12 to Saturday, June 27 and will host acts including Amy MacDonald, OMD, Paul Weller, Bowling For Soup and Deacon Blue.

Wanderlust Festival 2026

More than 50 bands took over Southampton city centre music fans packed into The 1865, Heartbreakers and The Joiners for the ever-growing Wanderlust Festival, as it returned for 2026. An early highlight during the two-day event was The Stanford Family Band, whose revival of the 1960s Beach Boys harmonies drew crowds to The Joiners. As one of the many Brighton bands on the bill, The Stanford Family Band’s performance came ahead of fellow Brightonian Lynnie Snow, who took to the stage at Heartbreakers with her band.
