BRIT Awards 2026: Olivia Dean Takes Home Four Awards

Manchester’s Co-Op Live hosted the 47th Awards on the 28th February 2026.

In the ceremony’s first move outside London, Olivia Dean emerged as one of the evening’s defining figures, while a broad mix of established stars and rising talent were recognised across the genre categories.

Fresh off the release of 2025’s The Art of Loving, Dean swept home Artist of the Year, Album of the Year, Best Pop Artist, and Song of the Year, for her collaboration on Rein Me In with Sam Fender.


Major Category Winners:
  • Album of the Year went to Olivia Dean for The Art of Loving, beating strong competition from releases by Sam Fender, Wolf Alice, Lily Allen and Dave.
  • The Song of the Year prize was awarded to Sam Fender and Olivia Dean for their chart-topping collaboration ‘Rein Me In’.
  • Olivia Dean also secured Artist of the Year, confirming her status as one of the defining voices in British pop right now.
  • Group of the Year went to Wolf Alice, who continue to cement their place as one of the UK’s leading guitar bands.

Genre Categories:
  • Alternative/Rock Act – Sam Fender
  • Hip-Hop/Grime/Rap Act – Dave
  • Dance Act – Fred Again, Skepta & PlaqueBoyMax
  • Pop Act – Olivia Dean

Breakthrough honours went to Lola Young, recognising a breakthrough year for the singer-songwriter.


International winners

International categories highlighted global stars alongside emerging acts:

  • International Artist of the Year – Rosalía
  • International Group of the Year – Geese
  • International Song of the Year – ROSÉ and Bruno Mars with APT.

Special awards

Several major industry honours were also presented on the night:

  • Producer of the Year – PinkPantheress, the first woman to receive the award.
  • Songwriter of the Year – Noel Gallagher.
  • Outstanding Contribution to Music – Mark Ronson.
  • Critics’ Choice – Jacob Alon.
