Asha Banks – Roundhouse, London

Words & Photos: Alice Arslanova

London’s iconic Roundhouse was buzzing to welcome Asha Banks on her first-ever headline UK tour for her new EP ‘How Real Was It?’, with support from friends Liang Lawrence and Alfie Jukes. Releasing her debut single, ‘So Green’, in 2024, Banks has established her voice and songwriting prowess, showcasing honesty and vulnerability, speaking to dedicated and adoring fans.

Banks announced her presence in a flowy yellow dress, making her way to the foliage-draped stage, potted plant in hand, adding one final touch and setting the stage for a night of high energy and emotion.

This dreamy night at the Roundhouse marks a huge milestone for Asha Banks as an up-and-coming artist as she leaves her impact on London’s historical venue. As the show comes to a close, it must leave both Asha and the supporting fans to think, how real was it?
