Richard Ashcroft – Utilita Arena, Cardiff
Richard Ashcroft’s current run may have officially begun back in Manchester last November, but Cardiff marked the point where things properly picked up again, the second date as the tour rolls into 2026.
Album Review: CAST – Yeah Yeah Yeah
Cast have been moving from strength to strength in the second half of their career, especially bolstered after a support tour with Oasis last year. Not stopping for a second after releasing 2024’s Love Is The Call, their latest album, Yeah Yeah Yeah, is their eighth studio album.
Oasis – Wembley Stadium
Oasis are the band that started my real love for indie / rock n roll, the first band that I found for myself or the one that found me in the mid 90’s as I was about to head into secondary school and one that have soundtracked my life ever since. The band that has seen me through a myriad of all different times, yet the music has always been there in those moments of celebration and also times of need.
The stars have aligned; Oasis are back!
Oasis today end years of feverish speculation with the confirmation of a long awaited run of UK and Ireland shows forming the domestic leg of their OASIS LIVE 25 world tour. Oasis will hit Cardiff, Manchester, London, Edinburgh and Dublin in the summer of 2025. Their only shows in Europe next year, this will be one of the biggest live moments and hottest tickets of the decade.
Liam Gallagher – The O2
Biblical, Godlike, Celestial, RnR Star, Majestical, Rasta, Lover, Lasagne, Sunshiiiiiine, C’mon – just some of the words used to describe himself and words that adorned the billboards leading up to The O2 from the tube (shoutout to Brian at Microdot for the original scribe!). I think tonight it could be said that Liam was a mixture of all these!
Noel Gallagher – Portsmouth Guildhall
Noel’s songwriting expertise coupled with Liam's snarling vocals, propelled Oasis like a rocket to be arguably the best but certainly the biggest selling band of the 90's. With legions of fans that have now passed the music down the generations, which is there to see withe demographic of tonights gig. Sometimes it feels like we are attending an AGM of the 90's when turning up at a gig of one of the Gallagher brothers.
Liam Gallagher and John Squire announce new collaboration
Collaborations don’t get much more biblical than this. Solo star, Oasis legend and force-of-nature Liam Gallagher has teamed up with John Squire, one of the most influential guitarists and songwriters of his generation via his time with The Stone Roses. The duo will set a high watermark for 2024 when they release their first single together, ‘Just Another Rainbow’, on January 5th, with more new music to follow as the year unfolds.
Liam Gallagher – Knebworth
He came, he saw, he conquered; not once but twice! Liam Gallagher made a triumphant return to Knebworth for two sold out gigs to 85,000 people each night, 26 years after headlining with Oasis.
