Hatfield Park was swarmed as Slam Dunk South 2025 brought moshing, riffs, nostalgia and more music fans than you could count. From the rain holding off until the headliners closed out their epic, hit-filled set, sing-alongs and community spirit, Slam Dunk brought ALL the good vibes and sunshine to Hatfield House!
With A Day To Remember making their Slam Dunk debut, it was chaos in the absolute best way. From a crowd-surfing cookie monster to toilet rolls flying from the stage, customised beach balls, and even a discussion about London’s public transport infrastructure, they managed to play some of their discography. From newer songs such as Flowers to classics such as 2nd sucks, they curated more than a set but a very special moment in Slam Dunk history.
Earlier in the day, Electric Callboy turned Slam Dunk into a metal rave full of lasers, wigs, techno beats and guttural vocals; it was not to be missed! There was not a dry body in the pit, whether from sweat, tears, or beer remains to be seen.
For those wanting something heavier, Stray from the Path, Malevolence and Landmvrks were more than happy to oblige. The pits went crazy, we did warn you about mouth guards in the preview!
Shoutout to the mosh pit mime, the Pikachu, and cookie monster all joining the mosh pits, adding an extra layer of fun and chaos to the day – Hope you weren’t too sore after!
There was one slight downer on the day, being that the Key Club tent had some technical difficulties that pushed set times around and delayed some artists. Despite the frustrations, massive kudos to the artists who powered through and delivered some killer sets with crowds showing them extra love and appreciation to help them deliver some extra special sets.
Slam Dunk stayed true to its roots by showcasing the best of the scene’s rising stars.
- Lake Malice opened the Kerrang Stage with a bold performance — circle pits, backing dancers, and explosive energy.
- Dream State stunned with soaring vocals and ferocious drops that had the crowd floored.
- Kid Bookie brought his signature mix of chaos and honesty, resonating deeply with fans.
- Greywind’s cathartic rage-pop had the crowd screaming every word back with unfiltered emotion.
Missed them? You’ll regret it when they’re headlining next time — because they will be. The throwback sets just hit different under the blue skies of Hatfield, surrounded by fellow fans.
As It Is playing Never Happy, Ever After? Ugly crying. The Used playing In Love and Death? Fully screaming, sweating in the pits and all the nostalgia.
It doesn’t end there! Slam Dunk South wasn’t only about the immaculate tunes. The street food line-up was a feast, quite literally! The signing tents gave fans a chance to meet their idols, and the afterparties brought all of the fun when the sun set and the bars closed at Hatfield House.
Slam Dunk South 2025 brought it hard. From sunshine, nostalgia-fueled bangers and pure community spirit, it was a weekend full of memories, madness, and music. Until next time, Hatfield: we’ll be down the front.
