Photo Gallery: Jaws Farewell Tour – O2 Academy Birmingham

Indie-trio Jaws concluded their string of farewell shows at the O2 Institute in Birmingham, bringing the band’s 12-year reign to a close in their hometown.

The group announced their departure from music in September 2024, saying in their social media post: “This has been everything to us, and we’re so lucky to have been able to do this for the last 12 years. For now, it’s goodbye. We’ll miss you.”

It would be very reasonable to assume a trip to the Attenborough Centre for Arts on Sussex Campus would involve an evening of seminars on French cinema or marine biodiversity but on Friday 21st November, the sound of Tune-Yards was heard and experienced - pulsating across the South Downs and beyond.
