The Isle of Wight Festival is among the UK’s most legendary, and later this month, it will return to Seaclose Park with a lineup to suit all music tastes.
Topping the bill on Sunday night is American pop icon Justin Timberlake, who will be sure to bring the party energy with hits including Can’t Stop the Feeling and Rock Your Body. The rest of the weekend will be headlined by Stereophonics (Saturday), who are celebrating the release of their newest album, Faithless (Friday), who last performed on the Island in 2016, and Sting (Friday), the iconic former frontman of The Police. Sky sponsors this year’s festival and runs from Thursday, June 19, to Sunday, June 22.
The weekend will host sing-alongs from some of the UK’s biggest artists, including Busted, The Script, Olly Murs and Lottery Winners. There will be 80s and 90s throwbacks, with Paul Heaton, James and Lightning Seeds all scheduled to take to the stage too.
For rock music fans, the Big Top on Saturday night is the place to be. Pop-punk hitmakers Pale Waves will be followed by 2024 Mercury Prize winners English Teacher, who will take to the stage before Leeds rock group Yard Act. After Yard Act, fans are sure to have an ‘Alright’ time as Supergrass return to the Isle of Wight.
Away from the main stages, local acts can be found performing across the weekend. The Raw Blues Project, featuring founding member of The Rolling Stones and The Pretty Things, Dick Taylor, are among the acts who will perform in The Kashmir Cafe, famous for its cherry beer.
Whether you are an Islander or taking a trip from the ‘mainland’ to the festival, there is something for everyone at Isle of Wight 2025.
