George Fitzgerald

‘Gleams’ is the new track from George FitzGerald

Following the release of his acclaimed EP Not As I, George FitzGerald ended last year on a high with an electrifying set at fabric as part of his Rinse residency alongside the likes of Mount Kimbie and Prospa. Welcoming the New Year in in the same fashion, today he releases brand new single, “Gleams”.

Written last summer during his travels around Germany and France, “Gleams” is a propulsive, beatific house track; a sound both nostalgic and new. George says of the track: “I was thinking back to the continental house records that I loved so much in the 00s, and the hours spent in record shops in Paris and Berlin discovering them. This is my take on those memories.”

This week George embarks on his Dublin residency and intimate UK club tour. Taking over the Wigwam basement every Friday in February, new songs and some of the UK and Ireland’s best sound systems are guaranteed. Tickets on sale now from here.
