Luvcat’s Anniversary Show Was Viciously Delicious!

It’s October in the city, and Luvcat‘s celebrating the first anniversary of her album ‘Vicious Delicious‘ in style. With an intimate gig in the perfectly characteristic cabaret-style club, The Box in Soho, fans gathered to sing along to their favourite songs from the iconic album, as well as hearing tracks from her latest EP.

A sea of leopard print and tartan filled the cabaret-style room, each with a red rose in hand. Passing the red curtain separating a buzzing audience from Luvcat herself, whispers of excitement rippled through the room as the lights dimmed and the stage was revealed.

She emerged with arms adorned in lace, complementing the leopard print dress that the crowd had so brilliantly anticipated (and matched!) Starting with hits from the album we were celebrating, the singer took us through all our ‘Vicious Delicious‘ favourites.

We were treated to anecdotes on our favourite tracks: the frantic obsession behind the murder ballad that broke the internet, He’s My Man, as well as the terrifying situation in the singer’s London flat that inspired Silent Killer from her Lovebites EP. The crowd also got a sneak peek of a new song, Mademoiselle, and couldn’t get enough.

It was clear nobody wanted this show to end. Dressed in red tartan for her encore, Luvcat still had more to share. The track Dinner @ Brasserie Zédel closed the set, accompanied by four incredible dancers and fluttering rose petal confetti. The epic finale for the show was truly fit for the venue, and it’s like the venue was made for Vicious Delicious.
