Mimi Webb – Bristol Beacon

Mimi Webb brought her Confessions Tour to a packed Bristol Beacon for its penultimate night, delivering a confident, high-energy performance that blended big pop hooks with heartfelt emotion. The evening, supported by rising star Grace Gachot, felt like an artist fully hitting her stride as the tour nears its close.

Opening the night, Grace Gachot set the bar impressively high. Despite telling the crowd she was starting to lose her voice, it wasn’t evident in the slightest — her vocals were powerful, polished and full of character. She commanded the stage with warmth and understated confidence, quickly winning over the crowd.

When Mimi Webb finally emerged, the reaction was electric. Launching straight into material from Confessions, the atmosphere shifted from anticipation to full-blown euphoria. Backed by a tight band and slick lighting design, Webb moved effortlessly through her set, showcasing both the power and emotional pull of her new record.

The Bristol crowd proved to be as much a part of the night as the set itself. Mid-show, Webb opened the floor for fan confessions — a signature part of the tour — and one particularly memorable moment came when a fan shared how her music helped him through a messy breakup with an ex who’d cheated 12 times. It was a funny, human moment, with the crowd appropriately booing the ex.

The show leaned heavily on Confessions, with fan favourites sitting comfortably alongside moments of vulnerability and empowerment. Webb’s vocals were strong and assured throughout, matched by a stage presence that felt polished yet genuine. The encore — closing with her breakout hit “House on Fire” — sent the room into full voice, a celebratory finish to a night that felt both intimate and electric.

As the tour nears its end, Webb is clearly at the top of her game, and Bristol got a show that confirmed why she’s one of the UK’s most exciting young pop performers right now.

Hundred Reasons – Engine Rooms Southampton

There was a charged atmosphere at Engine Rooms on Sunday night, as a packed crowd gathered for Hundred Reasons’ final ever south coast show. For many, it felt less like a gig and more like a send-off—an emotional celebration of a band that shaped the UK post-hardcore scene in the early 2000s and remained a vital live force to the very end.
