Pozi announce new album ‘Smiling Pools’
Pozi are the sort of band to tackle the creative cycle of deconstruction and rebuilding with relish. Second album Smiling Pools is testament to that. An LP that sees them at their most expansive yet, it follows a gradual swelling of their sound across two EPs preceding the urgent, self-enforced minimalism of their debut album PZ1 in 2019.
Independent Venue Week – 10th Anniversary
Independent Venue Week kicks off on Monday 30th January through to Sunday 5th February, featuring shows from Suede, Young Fathers, The Murder Capital, Anna Meredith, Philip Selway, beabadoobee, Amber Arcades, Adwaith, Benefits, The Unthanks, The Pretenders and many many more! Marking their 10th anniversary, more than 300 UK venues will host hundreds of gigs and events in the UK’s biggest celebration of independent live music!
Fire Records x Independent Venue Week UK Tour
Bringing formidable musicians to venues across the UK, Fire Records have joined forces with Independent Venue Week for a travelling independent label showcase filled with left-field and shoegaze pop. The special co-headline tour kicks off in Southampton on 30 January, and will see Amber Arcades, Hater and Thala stop off in Cardiff, London, Coventry, Liverpool, Newcastle and Glasgow.
