Photo Review: BBC Radio 2 in the Park

A weekend to remember, full of singing, dancing, laughter and all-around good time! The vibes were just right in Highlands Park, Chelmsford, and the sun got the message, too! The fact that the main gate was actually closer to my front door than the main stage was a big bonus (none of that standard festival traffic for me!) and to be walking the dog round the park one week to be then shouting Def Leppard anthems on the same grounds for their first ever (and probably last) performance in Chelmsford not long after feels unbelievable to me!

With stars of the noughties all the way back to the 80s, there was a sing-along for everyone. Evidently, a lot more pop than you would expect for me to be at, but we can all have a guilty pleasure!

Truck Festival 2025

Truck Festival returned to Oxfordshire this weekend, drawing crowds back to Hill Farm for another four days of live music and festival spirit. Now a well-established staple of the UK’s summer music calendar, Truck once again showcased a vibrant lineup spanning indie rock, pop, and alternative genres. True to tradition, the British weather kept things unpredictable at times, but that didn't stop festivalgoers, known affectionately as Truckers, from turning out in force for another memorable year of the beloved event.
