The Native finished up their first headline tour on Saturday evening at The Joiners in Southampton. The tour was originally schedule for March of this year but the band had the amazing opportunity to increase their profile by going out and supporting Bastille on their UK Tour. 

New EP from Moreish Idols due via Speedy Wunderground

London's Moreish Idols arrived fully formed a couple of months back with the frenetic "Speedboat", their debut single for tastemakers Speedy Wunderground. Following widespread support on that track, the band return today with news of their debut EP for the label "Float" set for release on August 12th, and a brand new single in the insistent "Hangar".

It had been some 18 years since I’d last seen the killers play when they had just released their debut album not fuss. It was a sweaty sold out capacity gig of 400 people at the Wedgewood Rooms for a relatively unknown band for the obscene price of £7! (I still have the ticket stub at home as no one believes me on the price!)
