Two Door Cinema Club are set for their London return on Friday

It’s been just over a decade and a half since indie rock giants Two Door Cinema Club left their first mark on the scene with their debut album, Tourist History, and they’re celebrating in style this Friday with a stellar lineup at London’s Crystal Palace Park.
If there was any doubt that summer has arrived, the Northern Irish trio will certainly put those worries to rest on the 26th June, with anyone who’s had the chance to dip their toes in the indie waters the last fifteen years certain to know the tracks set to wow the weekend’s South London crowd.
Known for now-classic tunes like Something Good Can Work, Undercover Martyn, and of course summer favourite What You Know, they’ll be playing those very songs as part of a mega performance of their first album in full, as well as other staples of their ridiculously stacked feel-good catalogue.
A long way from their hometowns of Bangor and Donaghadee, Two Door Cinema Club have taken their music to global success, with notable recent tours of the US and Australia adding to their mileage- though the trio noted this return to the English capital feels like somewhat of a “hometown show” in itself.

There’ll be familiar faces from when the band last played this stage at 2023’s Community Presents festival too, with The Vaccines joining as special guests, from whom we can expect belters like If You Wanna and Norgaard, as they’ll also be playing their debut album, What Did You Expect from The Vaccines? in its entirety.
That’s not all though, as YouTuber and emerging alt-pop star James Marriott and one of indie’s favourite rapidly growing bands The Royston Club also fill a bill that is undoubtedly set to provide the perfect summer soundtrack for the 33-degree heat expected in the South over the weekend.
Later throughout the year, Two Door Cinema Club will continue celebrating their anniversary with gigs across Europe and the US, including a debut at New York City’s coveted Madison Square Garden.
Clearly, though many years on from release, Tourist History still resonates as one of the fans’ most favourite collections, with Friday being a sellout and billions of Spotify streams to show for it.
Two Door Cinema Club will join Kneecap, The Offspring, Snow Patrol and Alanis Morrisette at the 2026 Crystal Palace Park series. You can find remaining tickets here: https://www.festivalrepublic.com/events/crystal-palace-park
